How it works

Four steps, none of them in Brazil

Assessment

Thirty minutes by video, at your time, in English or Portuguese. I map your goal, horizon, tax situation and what you hold here and there. No cost.

Getting compliant

Tax exit filing, CPF, tax representative: we settle the part that stalls most people before a single real moves. Already in order? We skip it.

An account in your name

A non-resident account at a top-tier Brazilian bank, with Pix, card and official remittances. The money never passes through me.

A portfolio looked after daily

A CVM-authorised asset manager builds and rebalances the portfolio within the policy we set. You follow it in the app and talk to me at every review.

What you gain

Three things your account abroad does not give you

Yield in reais

Brazilian fixed income pays one of the highest real interest rates in the world. If you plan to return, have family in Brazil or want currency diversification, it is a premium that does not exist in dollars or euros.

Getting it right with the tax authority

Exit filing, tax representative, IOF on remittances, withholding at source: each has a right way. It is the scariest part and the one I solve fastest.

Someone on your side, in your time zone

You talk to me at your hours. The portfolio is looked after every day by a CVM-authorised asset manager. The money stays in your name, at the bank.

What goes into the portfolio

Designed for your goal, not for the product of the month

A liquid reserve in reais

For money you want at hand on trips to Brazil or for family.

High-yield fixed income

Government and bank bonds, the core of a non-resident portfolio.

Equities and funds when they fit

With the full account, capital gains on listed shares are income-tax exempt for residents of non-tax-haven countries.

Pension savings for a future return

Monthly contributions from abroad, building the income for the day you come back.

The non-resident account comes in two versions: a simple one with no maintenance fee, aimed at fixed income; and a full one with an annual fee that opens equities, funds and Treasury bonds. Which one fits depends on size and goal, and it is one of the first things we settle in the assessment.
Taxes and remittances

No legalese, in four lines

Do I need to have filed the Brazilian tax exit?

To invest as a non-resident, yes: it sets your tax regime and appoints the tax representative. If you have not, it is step one and I walk you through it.

How is fixed income taxed?

Withheld at source in Brazil by the bank itself. No annual Brazilian return needed; your home-country rules are part of the assessment.

And equities?

For non-residents outside tax havens, capital gains on the exchange are income-tax exempt in Brazil under the full-account regime. Dividends became subject to withholding in 2026; I explain your case.

How do I send and bring money back?

Through official remittance channels, with reduced IOF when properly structured. In and out always through your own account, in your name, with records for both countries.

This is an explanation, not advice. Your country of residence's rules and double-taxation treaties vary, which is why the assessment is individual.

Who is on your side

Three layers, three responsibilities

Me, the consultant

Cassio Cibils, securities consultant registered with the CVM, Brazil's securities regulator (004949-2). Ten years in a universal bank as a corporate relationship manager. Paid a fixed fee under contract, never a product commission. Service in English and Portuguese.

The asset manager

An independent asset manager authorised by the CVM to run portfolios. Builds, monitors and rebalances your portfolio every day, with reporting, within the policy we define together.

The bank

Account and custody sit at a top-tier Brazilian bank, in your name. Neither I nor the manager can touch your money: only a mandate to manage what is there.

Who it is for

And who it is not for

  • You have from US$ 100,000 to allocate in Brazil, at once or in instalments.
  • You want to build or keep wealth in reais: to return, for family, or to diversify currency.
  • You accept a multi-year horizon and want someone looking after it, not an app to trade on your own.
  • Anyone looking to bet on the exchange rate or trade short term.
  • Anyone expecting guaranteed returns or promised performance.
  • Anyone who needs the money back within a few months.

Below US$ 100,000 I point you to the right path during the assessment itself, without tying up your calendar or mine with a plan that does not pay for itself.

FAQ

What everyone asks before starting

I filed my tax exit from Brazil. Can I still invest there?

Yes. The non-resident account exists precisely for that. What changes is the tax regime and the need for a tax representative, which the bank appoints.

I never filed the tax exit and have lived abroad for years. Now what?

Common and fixable. Step one is getting compliant; I guide you and work with the accountant. I never promise it is simple before looking at the case.

Do I need to travel to Brazil?

No. Assessment, account opening, signatures and follow-up are all done remotely, by video and through the bank's app.

What language is the service in?

English and Portuguese, by video, e-mail and WhatsApp, at agreed times in your time zone.

Can I contribute monthly from abroad?

Yes. Recurring remittances are set up through the official channel and land in your Brazilian account.

How do I bring the money back?

Through the same account, by official remittance, with proof of origin. The portfolio is designed so that this is possible without dismantling anything in a hurry.

What does it cost?

A fixed management fee agreed in a direct contract, with no product commission, no entry or exit fees. The bank's full account has its own annual fee; the simple one has none. Everything stated before we start.

Do you hold my money?

Never. It stays at the bank, in your name. The manager and I work under a mandate to manage, not possession.

Do you serve US residents?

Yes, at the investor's own initiative and under a contract in Brazil covering Brazilian assets. In the assessment I explain what applies to US residents.

Assessment

Thirty minutes to find out whether it makes sense

Tell me where you are and what you want to solve. I reply within one business day, in your language, with two or three slots in your time zone.

Would you rather talk before filling anything in?

Message me on WhatsApp and say in one sentence what you want to solve. I answer personally.
