The person selling the productshould not be the one telling youwhether it suits you.
I am registered with the CVM, the Brazilian securities regulator, as an investment consultant. On this front my job is one thing only: to look at your portfolio as a whole, say what makes sense for your goals, and be paid by you for it, not by whoever manufactures the product.

The question is not which investment pays the most.
It is which portfolio survives your next shock.
The rest is shop-window talk.
I work with people who already hold investments and suspect the portfolio was built for the convenience of whoever sold it, and with people who started accumulating recently and want a structure that will not have to be taken apart later.
How it works
Four steps, and the third one only exists because of the second
A portfolio without a written policy is a collection of products. The order here is not decoration: it is what separates a decision from an impulse.
Diagnosis
Thirty minutes to understand the goal, the horizon, what you already hold, what has gone wrong before and how much volatility you can take without losing sleep. No cost, no commitment.
Investment policy
I write the rules of your portfolio on a single page: what each part of the money is for, how much goes to each asset class and what triggers a change. It is the document that prevents decisions made in panic.
Managed portfolio
With the policy written, the portfolio is built and managed by an independent asset manager authorised by the CVM, and rebalanced as the scenario and your goals change. The money stays in your name, in custody at a partner broker, under a contract signed directly between you and the manager.
Follow-up
Periodic reviews, rebalancing when the portfolio drifts from what was agreed, and a conversation whenever your life changes, because it is life that changes a portfolio, not the news cycle.
Who it is for
Situations where consulting pays for itself
- You hold investments and have never seen a written explanation of why that portfolio exists
- You received a recommendation and want a second opinion from someone who earns nothing if you follow it
- You sold a property or a company, or received an inheritance, and need to decide calmly
- Your money sits across three banks and nobody has a view of the whole
- You want to structure retirement and are not sure the pension plan you were sold is any good
- You are a business owner and your company cash and personal wealth are tangled together
And who it is not for
Anyone looking for stock tips or short-term trades · Anyone who wants to pick assets one by one, on impulse, with no written policy · Anyone expecting a guaranteed return. In those three cases I say no in the first conversation, and that conversation is still free.
What I analyse
The products that come into the conversation
I earn no commission on any of them. The consulting analyses, compares and recommends; execution happens in the portfolio managed by the partner asset manager, under a direct contract with you. This catalogue exists so you know what we are talking about when I say a name.
Government bonds
5 productsIssued by the Brazilian National Treasury and bought through Tesouro Direto, the retail platform. The credit risk is the Brazilian government, the lowest in the country.
Floating rate, tracks the Selic policy rate, with daily liquidity and minimal price swings. The default choice for an emergency reserve.
The rate is locked at purchase: you know today exactly what you will receive at maturity. Selling earlier means accepting the market price, which moves every day.
Pays the IPCA inflation index plus a fixed real rate. The only bond that guarantees a return above inflation if held to maturity.
Built for retirement: you accumulate until a chosen date and then receive inflation-adjusted monthly income for twenty years.
The same logic applied to education: accumulate until the chosen year, then receive monthly income for five years.
Bank fixed income
5 productsYou are lending to a bank. Most of these are covered by the FGC, Brazil deposit insurance fund, up to R$ 250,000 per taxpayer and per institution, with a R$ 1 million cap renewed every four years.
A bank time deposit, offered as a percentage of the CDI interbank rate, at a fixed rate, or as IPCA plus a spread. The yield is taxed on a declining scale, from 22.5% down to 15%.
Notes backed by real estate and agribusiness credit, exempt from income tax for Brazilian individuals. In exchange, they carry a minimum holding period.
The Development Credit Note, created in 2024 and issued by development banks. Also income tax exempt for individuals.
Deposit variations with liquidity, useful for the monthly cash. They usually pay less than a CDB of the same term.
The Brazilian savings account: tax exempt and liquid, but its yield follows a fixed rule that has trailed the CDI for years. Use it as a benchmark, not as a strategy.
Private credit
5 productsHere the borrower is a company, not a bank and not the government. There is no deposit insurance: the extra yield is the price of that risk.
Corporate debt issued to fund projects and working capital. It pays more than bank fixed income because the credit risk belongs to the issuer.
Tied to infrastructure projects and exempt from income tax for individuals, which changes the after-tax comparison considerably.
Real estate and agribusiness receivable certificates, income tax exempt for individuals. Long maturities and thin liquidity on the secondary market.
A receivables fund: it buys portfolios of trade receivables. The structure has senior and subordinated shares, and the subordinated one absorbs defaults first.
Short-term corporate debt, in smaller sizes and shorter terms than a debenture issue.
Investment funds
5 productsYou buy shares and a professional manager runs the strategy. What separates a good fund from an expensive one is the sum of management fee, performance fee and taxation.
A portfolio of government and corporate bonds. Simple and liquid, but the management fee can eat a good share of what the CDI delivers.
A broad mandate: rates, currencies, equities and offshore assets in the same portfolio. The dispersion between managers is enormous, which is why the choice matters more here.
A portfolio built by a manager, with strategies ranging from dividends to small caps. Taxed at 15% on the gain, assessed at redemption.
Exposure to the dollar, the euro or a basket of currencies. Used to protect wealth rather than to chase yield.
Concentrated in debentures, CRI, CRA and FIDC. They pay more than the DI benchmark, but the liquidity of the fund has to match the liquidity of what it holds.
Equities and listed funds
5 productsThere is no promised return here. Prices move every day, and the horizon has to be long enough that you are never forced to sell at the worst moment.
Ownership in companies listed on B3, the Brazilian exchange. Since 2026 dividends are no longer fully exempt: 10% is withheld on anything above R$ 50,000 per month paid by the same company.
Receipts of foreign shares traded in reais on B3. They give exposure to companies abroad without opening an account overseas.
Shares in funds that hold properties, receivables or other funds. They pay monthly income, exempt from income tax for individuals when the fund meets the legal requirements.
The same structure as FIIs applied to agribusiness: land, receivables and sector operations.
Index funds traded on the exchange, with low fees. The cheapest way to buy an entire market instead of picking asset by asset.
Private pension
3 productsMore than a yield product, this is a tax and estate structure. Choosing between the two acronyms depends on how you file your income tax return.
Allows deducting up to 12% of gross taxable income, for those who file the full return. At redemption, income tax applies to the whole amount, not only to the gain.
No deduction at filing, but income tax applies only to the gain. The format most used by those who file the simplified return and by those planning succession.
Not a product but a choice made at signing, and it defines how much tax you pay later. On the regressive table the rate falls to 10% after ten years.
Investing abroad
5 productsDiversifying currency is not the same as diversifying assets. Before choosing the product, the question is which part of your wealth should stop depending on the real.
Bought directly through a broker abroad, in dollars. Access to the US and global markets at low cost through ETFs.
The American cousin of Brazilian real estate funds, with income distribution and its own tax treatment for Brazilian investors.
US government and global corporate debt. This is fixed income in dollars, with a credit risk profile quite different from the Brazilian one.
Available on B3 or on local platforms, they give offshore exposure without opening an account abroad and without handling FX on every contribution.
The operational gateway: FX spread, the IOF transaction tax and capital gains taxation abroad all belong in the calculation before the asset is chosen.
Structured and alternatives
4 productsProducts that only make sense once the rest of the portfolio stands on its own. They demand the closest reading of the contract, and the cost usually hides inside the structure.
A Structured Operations Certificate: fixed income combined with derivatives, sometimes with capital protection. The cost does not show up as a fee, it sits in the design of the deal.
A classic store of value, reachable through an ETF, a B3 contract or a fund. It pays no income: the return comes only from price and currency moves.
High volatility and regulation still being written. When they come in, they come in as a small, policy-defined slice, never on the impulse of a headline.
Stakes in private companies, with long lock-ups and almost no liquidity. They require wealth and patience that match the commitment.
Educational descriptions, with no offer and no recommendation. Availability, terms, lock-up periods and taxation change with the issuer and with current legislation. No product listed here guarantees a return.
Independence
I also sell products. That is exactly why this is written here.
The question you should ask anyone who talks to you about money is simple: who pays you? This is my answer, on both fronts.
Investment consulting
Registered with the CVM as a securities consultant, individual registration 004949-2. I work in partnership with an independent asset manager, authorised by the CVM, that runs the portfolio. The remuneration is a fixed management fee, under a direct contract with you, agreed before we start. I receive no commission on the investments I recommend.
Personal Banker
On the other front of this site I present and compare credit, insurance, consórcio and FX from partner institutions. There the institution that closes the deal is the one who pays me, and nothing is charged to you.
Where the two meet
If a recommendation involves a product I also distribute, that is stated in the report, with the conflict spelled out, and the decision is yours with that information on the table.
What I never do
I do not move your account, I hold no power of attorney, I custody no funds and I guarantee no returns. The money stays in your name, at the custodian broker; the asset manager runs the portfolio under a contract you sign and can end.
What it costs
You know what you pay before we start
You pay a fixed management fee, agreed in the first conversation and written into a direct contract, with no product commission, no entry or exit fees and no hidden spread. The commissions the products would generate go back into your portfolio. It is the opposite of the model where someone earns per product sold.
Recommended portfolio
Request your portfolio and receive it within five business days
You tell me your profile, amount, where you already hold accounts and your goals with time horizons. I set the investment policy, the partner asset manager builds the portfolio and you receive it fully explained, asset by asset.

Before you call me
What people always ask about consulting
How is consulting different from what my bank manager does?
What does that CVM registration mean?
Do you hold my money?
Who manages the portfolio?
You also sell products as a Personal Banker. Is that not a conflict?
How much does it cost?
How much do I need to have?
Do you guarantee returns?
Diagnosis
Thirty minutes to find out whether it makes sense
Tell me where you stand. I come back with a first reading and, if consulting is not what you need right now, I will say that too.
Your details are used only to get back to you. They are never sold or shared.
