FX, international and fixed costs
FX remittance and trade finance
Paying suppliers abroad, receiving export proceeds and borrowing in foreign currency.

What it is
On remittances, I compare the spread across partners for each operation. That usually matters far more than the difference in the quoted rate you see on screen.
In trade finance and in credit under Law 4,131 (the Brazilian law that allows foreign-currency loans from abroad), the company finances imports and exports in foreign currency, normally at a cost below credit in reais. ACC and ACE, the export financing instruments used in Brazil, work the same way: they advance the FX contract before or after shipment.
When it makes sense
- You have closed FX at the same bank for years and never compared
- The company imports inputs or exports product
- There is revenue in dollars or euros and debt in reais
How it works
- Map of operationsVolume, currency and frequency of what you move.
- Spread comparisonI put the partners in competition for the same operation.
- OnboardingThe company is registered with the FX desk.
- OperationSettlement at the agreed rate and spread.
What you will need
- Import or export contracts or invoices
- Revenue for the last 12 months
- CNPJ (Brazilian company tax ID) registration and articles of incorporation
The list can change with the institution and the size of the deal. I confirm what is actually required before you gather a single document.
Next step
Tell me where the company stands. The diagnosis is free and takes fifteen minutes.
If there is a deal that makes sense, I build it and compare it. If there is not, I will say so, and you save the time of finding that out alone.
